A rare find-we are excited to introduce the line created by talented designer Emily Wright.  A label inspired by contrasts, materials and ideas, Nancybird is a Melbourne based accessories label, focusing on quality materials and playful, thoughtful design. Nancybird unofficially began  in 2001, with Emily using some of the textile prints created in her fine art course to make a small collection of purses and bags. She brought them to a couple of local stores in Melbourne known for their support of Australian design, and Nancybird was born.
The collection has a distinctively Australian feel, using raw, earthy materials focusing on the natural materials of leather, cotton and linen. Much of the range has been hand printed by local Melbourne makers. The range of leather and fabric accessories is constantly evolving to include gorgeous seasonal colors with contrasts of pattern, surface texture and details.   Emily's line has a local following for the lovely designs, as she creates accessories with a touch of femininity and vintage charm, while being practical in nature.
